
本书基于作者20多年的信息技术行业的工作经验、丰富的区块链企业投资经验,通过跟踪和研究行业发展,以及参与行业研讨会和拜访企业等方式,结合全球区块链的关键核心应用案例,深入浅出地从区块链对人们的影响切入,以人们深切体会的变化和体验为基础,为读者普及了区块链技术对人们日常生活和工作方式,以及社会结构产生的影响等。此外,作者预测了未来区块链技术可以开拓的商业场景和机会,以让人们更好地适应世界的变化。
前言 和大多数人一样,我接触区块链技术也是从比特币开始的。2013年11月,我在英国杜伦大学商学院的一次研讨会上,第一次接触了区块链技术。当时商学院的金融学教授Julian Williams讲述了他自己构建的一个大数据模型,他用其来追踪比特币的全球流动性及其价格关系。这个模型非常有趣,它利用大数据的技术来实时追踪、分析和监控比特币在欧洲各国的流动情况,看起来很像一幅3D交通流量地图。如果给不同国家的资金标记上颜色的话,这将是一幅色彩斑斓的3D油画。这让我对探索区块链技术的发展产生了浓厚的研究兴趣。为了更好地接触这项前沿科技,同时也为了在投资领域做好前期的调研和准备,我从2014年开始研究和跟踪区块链的技术发展趋势及行业发展方向。 2018年9月12日,图灵奖和哥德尔奖的得主、美国麻省理工学院的Silvio Micali教授和他的学生陈静副教授,把他们合作开发的Algorand协议带到了上海。Algorand是由Algorithm和Random两个词合成的,是一个基于随机算法的公共账本协议,是一条全新的区块链公有链。在与Silvio Micali教授面对面的交流过程中,我再一次感受到了区块链技术的魅力,也感受到了区块链领域技术的迅猛发展。 2018年9月19日,我的博士研究生导师、英国杜伦大学商学院副院长Kiran Fernandes和金融学教授Julian Williams来上海做了一场区块链的专题研讨会,重点探讨了区块链的现状及未来发展趋势。这次的研讨会让我更加坚定地相信区块链是一次技术范式的大转移,会从方方面面以颠覆性创新的维度来改变世界。 在长达7年多的时间里,我参与了对区块链的技术发展趋势及行业发展的研究,拜访和调研了杭州云象网络技术有限公司、北京天德科技有限公司、上海唯链信息科技有限公司、杭州时戳信息科技有限公司、杭州嘉南耘智信息科技有限公司、北京比特大陆科技有限公司、北京太一云科技有限公司、西安纸贵互联网科技有限公司等20多家区块链初创企业,以及复旦大学、同济大学、交通大学、西安电子科技大学、东华大学等高校的区块链实验室等与整个产业链相关的企业与研究机构,同时还参与了区块链项目的孵化与辅导工作,并在高校兼职做区块链技术与行业应用相关课程的讲师,以及在全国各大创新创业大赛上做评委和导师。以上这些经历,让我积累了一些关于区块链的行业经验,也为撰写本书奠定了基础。 鉴于市场上已有较多关于区块链的图书,所以本书并没有详细介绍何谓区块链、区块链的重要作用等相关理论性知识,而是从区块链对人们的影响展开,基于区块链的商业应用价值,着重讨论一些人们非常关注的问题。例如,区块链是否会影响我们目前的工作模式,是否会改变我们的生活方式,是否会有全新的商业机会,等等。本书也重点介绍了区块链的应用实践,列举了目前已经在成熟应用的多个区块链案例,希望使读者在了解区块链的相关知识的同时,可以更好地识别机遇,认清商业机会,应用好区块链,把握住区块链这个非常有可能改变社会、改变历史的巨大机会。 特别感谢我的博士研究生导师、英国社会科学院院士、复杂系统建模和数字创新方面的世界知名专家、英国杜伦大学商学院副院长Kiran Fernandes,他对于本书的出版给予了许多帮助和指导;感谢区块链行业的先行者们、区块链技术圈的朋友们;感谢对于本书的出版给予很大认可和支持的区块链行业的前辈和技术达人。最后,感谢我的太太丽珍和每次悄悄出现在书桌上的那杯冒着热气和清香的乌龙茶。 孙霄汉
