本书介绍了国际贸易实务涉及的相关内容。本次修订后的教材仍以进出口贸易的主要业务环节为主线，系统介绍各环节的操作规程和国际惯例。根据国际经济情势更新数据及案例，增加补充了关于“一带一路”的相关内容，提高教材的有效性。力求突出“新”和“实务”这两个要素和特点。本书为英文版，与中文版配套使用。

前    言

　　中国加入WTO，与世界的经济贸易联系更加密切，使得中国与世界其他国家的合作具有了更加广阔的前景。因此，培养既具有国际贸易专业知识又精通外语的复合型人才是目前高等教育的首要任务。正是在这样的时代大背景下，我们于2005年着手编写了《新编国际贸易实务》一书（中文版，清华大学出版社2006年8月第1版，2009年5月第2版），其目的就是帮助广大经贸类专业的学生掌握专业知识和具体的商务贸易规程。

　　随着全球经济一体化程度的加深，一方面我国将需要更多的外贸人才，另一方面对国际贸易专业的学生将提出更高标准，要求其在熟悉掌握专业知识的基础上，能够使用英语进行业务磋商，利用网络营销开展全球贸易并且熟知国际贸易相关条款和惯例。可见，对于国际贸易专业的学生来说，提高自身的综合业务素质是目前最为迫切的任务。正是基于此目的，我们在对《新编国际贸易实务》中文版进行修订的同时，编写了这本与中文版《新编国际贸易实务》相对应的英文版教材，旨在从根本上提高国际贸易实务的双语教学水平。

　　本书以进出口贸易的主要业务环节为主线，系统地介绍了各个环节的操作规程和国际惯例，书中的英文材料大多选自国外原汁原味的英语专业资料，不仅句式地道，而且力求做到英语知识与专业知识相结合，克服了国内教材重语言形式轻语言运用能力的弊端。本书每一章节的编写都注重材料翔实全面，语言难易适中，专业性强的特点。在第1版的基础上，本书结合国际贸易的变化和发展趋势，根据一些贸易规则的修订作了适当的调整。对案例、引用资料进行了更新，有针对性地拓宽了知识领域。本书还在各章后配备了丰富的各类习题，供学生课后练习或自学检测使用。此外，本书还提供习题答案、教师授课课件等辅助资源。

　　本书的读者对象主要为具有较好英语基础的经贸类专业和英语专业二、三年级的学生，以及有志从事国际贸易工作的其他人士。

　　本书由天津科技大学经济管理学院华欣、张雪莹担任主编，张意参与了相关资料的搜集与整理以及课件的设计。此外为了加强教材的理论联系实际性，特邀啟晟融通有限公司张磊指导了国际运输与保险以及国际结算部分的修订，并提供了相关的实际业务操作案例。

本书是与中文版《新编国际贸易实务》相对应的英文版教材，中英文配套，介绍国际贸易各环节操作规程和国际惯例，内容全面，语言难易适中。配备习题和答案，拓展资源、教辅资源丰富。

华欣，女，教授，经济学博士，博士生导师，天津科技大学经济管理学院院长，天津市世界经济学会副秘书长，天津市教育科学学会理事。主要研究方向为国际贸易和国际投资，主要教授国际贸易理论、国际贸易实务、国际经济学、跨国公司管理与国际投资等课程。主持完成科技部软科学研究项目、天津市哲学社会科学研究规划资助项目、天津市政府重点咨询课题。作为主完人参与多项天津市科委科技发展规划课题、天津市级教学改革研究项目的研究。出版《东盟五国对外经贸战略研究》等专著2本、《新编国际贸易实务》、《国际经济合作》、《跨国公司经营与管理》教材4本，在《国际经济合作》、《生产力研究》、《现代财经》、《对外经贸实务》、《港口经济》等学术期刊上发表论文多篇。曾获天津市第十届哲学社会科学优秀成果三等奖（2006年），天津市宣传文化“五个一批”（社科理论）人才（2013年），第七届高等教育天津市级教学成果一等奖（第二名）。
